Known for her multidisciplinary approach to language, narrative, African-American cultural histories, and embodied forms of knowledge, Jemison's work is, among others, part of the collections: The Museum of Modern Art (New York); Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), Whitney Museum of American Art (New York); Kadist (Paris); Brooklyn Museum of Art (New York); Castello di Rivoli (Italy).
She recently presented her solo exhibition at the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève and was awarded with the production grant of Lafayette Anticipations at Art Basel Paris 2024. Her work is now on view at The MET, New York, (17.11-17.02.2025) and CAPC Bordeaux (15.11-04.05.2025).
