Each year, artBO summons national and international art galleries, curators, artists, collectors and general public around a commercial and cultural platform. For several years, with the aim of promoting the competitiveness of the city, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (BCC) identified the cultural and creative industries as one of the strategic sectors with potential for the economic and social development of Colombia. Thus, BCC created an ambitious program to stimulate entrepreneurial development increasing circulation and demand.

Today, artBO, Bogota’s International Art Fair, is one of those platforms that not only achieves a commercial objective, but also, promotes the talent, creativity, exchange and appreciation of art in the national and international art scene.
