We are very proud to announce that Yael Bartana was awarded the 4th Artes Mundi Prize for contemporary art at National Museum Cardiff on 19th May. This prize of £40,000, is the UK's Largest Art Prize. Yael Bartana was awarded the Prize for her work of the last five to eight years which has, according to the Artes Mundi Prize organization, "consistently stimulated thinking about the human condition and adds to our understanding of humanity".
