Marijke van Warmerdam is the second artist to take over the countryhouse Oud Amelisweerd, where until 2026 the Centraal Museum is located. She presents Then, now, and then, a series of films she created during her long stay in Rome, from 2017 on. The films distinctively capture the city and its Baroque influences. With a soundtrack from the city connecting the several works presented, the tour through the exhibition space reminds the visitor of a stroll through a Roman city.
