Ryan Gander's work is featured in the group exhibition 'The Estate's Autumn', that follows the first chapter 'The Estate's Summer', which imagined a fictional art collector, who (could have) lived in a remote place such as rural Latvia. In this second chapter pieces of art and furniture from the collector's summerhouse will be placed within the exhibition space. The rest of the scenery exists merely as a white painted outline, a floor plan of sorts. 'The Estates's Autumn' is based on exclusion. Nothing can be included without the exclusion of something else.
