Jacqueline Bebb
Almost, Sweet Talk, Caffeine (My Dissonance), 2013
Polyurethane resin
18,5 x 42,5 x 29 cm
Each object is around 19 x 9 x 9 cm

Three Coke can and cigarette packet rabbits that the artist made in a high school art class, re-imagined and rendered in black polyurethane resin. The work was conceived after the artist got in touch with a former school friend via Twitter, with whom she had lost contact many years ago. The title, lyrics from the 1992 Faith No More song Caffeine, references early 90’s rock music and echoes both the grittiness and tenderness of the cast objects.
