his body of work consists of experimental photographic pieces created using natural light from the stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Mary at the Oude Kerk, during Andreotta Calo's exhibition in 2018. Instead of artificial light in a darkroom, the natural light filtering through the windows exposed the photosensitive paper placed in direct contact with the glass. The resulting images are negatives of the stained glass, focusing particularly on the Annunciation scene. By masking parts of the windows and using red filters, the process highlighted key elements while creating an ethereal, mirage-like effect. The project spanned different lighting conditions over the summer to capture varying intensities of light.
