Sad Circus was shown during the 2013 Habana Bienal. When you enter the tent, you find all the debris of a show done the day before: Spectator's, children's and animal footstep are marked onto the sand, but also left overs of candy packages are also scattered around the tent. The void of the show transform an event usually seen as joyful and happy into a sad one.
