On the occasion of Robby Müller's retrospective at Metrograph New York, Annet Gelink Gallery is excited to present a new special edition print by the renowned cinematographer. Presented in collaboration with Metrograph Editions, the print features a truly iconic image from the Robby Müller Archive from his vast collection of Polaroid photographs. Of this particular photograph from the archive, Andrea Müller-Schirmer says: “I am pleased that Robby continues to inspire through his photographic legacy. His Polaroids in particular are true explorations of light. While filming, time for this was in his downtime. As such, many photos were taken in hotel rooms. The Mayflower Hotel was, next to the Gramercy Park Hotel, his favorite in NYC. To me, this impression of the foggy city skyline behind Central Park has the same magic as his cinematic images.”
